Aim of course

To achieve a practical level of competence using this software to enable it to be used with confidence in the workplace and be productive in the shortest time.

 

Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the delegate should be able to:

  • Transfer Enquiries into projects
  • Understand Database maintenance,i.e setting up custom codes etc
  • Set up contract constants E.G.daywork rates, retention figures etc
  • Manage variations:
      - Create and price up variations
        using both the schedule of rates
        and star rated items
      - Post variations to other modules
        including procurement and
        costing
      - Create and export reports
  • Manage Dayworks:
      - Create and price up Dayworks
      - Post Dayworks  to other modules
      - Create reports
  • Manage Valuations / Applications:
      - Create Valuations / Applications
      - Claim for completed work,
        unfixed materials, variations and
        daywork
      - Post Valuations / Applications to
        costing
      - Create and export reports
  • Manage  the servicing, PAT testing and  calibrating of tools
  • Post the cost of the Tool hire into Contract Costing
  • View the history of the usage of the tools and plan items
  • Print reports
